I was delighted to receive an e-mail from Wimbledon Bookfest to inform us that  all 18  Pelham entries to the Young Writers' Competition 2020 have been awarded a prize. This is astounding, considering 53 schools entered this year and the competition received nearly 400 entries.

Commended Writing- These were deemed to be, 'extremely good' by the judges and will be awarded a certificate in the Autumn.

Highly Commended Writing- These were deemed to be, 'excellent writing that engaged the reader'. These children will receive a certificate and will be published in the anthology of poems and stories in the Autumn.

Well done, everyone!
