Wimbledon bookfest Young Writers' competition 2020

I was delighted to receive an e-mail from Wimbledon Bookfest to inform us that all 18 Pelham entries to the Young Writers' Competition 2020 have been awarded a prize. This is astounding, considering 53 schools entered this year and the competition received nearly 400 entries. Commended Writing- These were deemed to be, 'extremely good' by the judges and will be awarded a certificate in the Autumn. Highly Commended Writing- These were deemed to be, 'excellent writing that engaged the reader'. These children will receive a certificate and will be published in the anthology of poems and stories in the Autumn. Well done, everyone! Awards are listed underneath the entries below....
